‘Panos – Help The Children’, also known as ‘Panos4Life’, was founded as a not-for-profit Society in 2006 in memory of Panos Vardakas, a talented young man who passed away after a long and courageous battle against cancer.
Aim
Its aim is to provide help and support to children and young people who face serious health problems, or who have been subjected to ill-treatment, violence or exploitation, or who are living in a family environment with severe psychological or financial problems, for example with ill or dependent parents.
Funding and Support
Financial help is available
- to cover medical and pharmaceutical expenses
- to provide psychological support for the children and/or their families
- to fund developmental study or experience
- to encourage the artistic work and studies of those with talent, including their participation in competitions, exhibitions etc..
